Sorry to hear, but it is not my definition. It has been used for ages. True gamer is open to any game and won't kill them without trying them.
If we all would play only games that get 10/10 and are praised by media... we would miss hell of a lot of great gems.
You ain't a true gamer if you bash other games before they are even out and pick your favorites without giving the other games a change.

I am happy there are many non-fps games available for 360. There should be even more though. Platformers and RPGs are always welcome.

LIPS sounds like some kind of perv simulator with lipsticks that comes in different flavors.
Other than that, almost similar. Would pick 360, just because the so called "warm PS3 look" kinda annoys me. It's same with every ps3 game.

Had a pleasure to play this gem on both system. It looked really nice on both but after playing first with 360, it was really hard to get used to PS3's more blurred look, but in the end it worked equally well.
Did not notice any tearing with 360 or PS3.
The game could be better, but it is still great with PS3.
Every game could be better. If PS3 has some limitations it does not mean the game will suck. The game will be what PS3 can offer right now.
So no wonder GTAIV 360 sold more.

I am pretty sure it does not mean just "couple of".. there's loads and loads of texture work done in game like Killzone2. Huge environments and details need textures. If they all lack the quality, it is not that small issue.

in many cases the end result fails to deliver. Lets hope for the best. Little Big Planet will rock I think..not sure about the rest.
But.. PS3 is cheap blu-ray player, so no wonder it sells.
What comes to Halo Wars, Alan Wake etc..I personally hope they come next year. There's plenty of great games coming this year. Fable 2, Too Human alone is enough. Banjo will be great and of course Gears of War 2.
Also people always forget the weekly arcade titles and "smaller" games that won't often get so hyped. There will be more than enough gaming at least for me.
